Pea Green

Way out in the middle of sweet-corn country, at the intersection of two roads on the way to someplace else, is a destination that regularly revives a lost era of American music.

During the summer months, the area around Pea Green comes alive with farm activity as onions, and world-famous Olathe sweet corn is grown, harvested and shipped to supermarkets across the United States, from Alaska to Virginia.

During the winter months as farmers prepare for the upcoming planting season, residents of the Pea Green area gather for bluegrass music and fellowship at the Pea Green community house.

There, Pea Green Saturday Night comes alive.
